Why might an organisation use blogging software like Blogger or Wordpress to create a website?

What would be good?

 -So I think that the main reason would be that the software is FREE.
-Relatively easy to use for the maker
-Relatively user friendly for the client
-Easy to update and make changes
-If passwords and login detail are known then multiple staff can update and make changes
-Web based

 

 

What would be bad?

-Restricted to particular layouts
-Blogger can look messy if too much content is added as it is not really intended as a full website
-You may not be able to add in everything you need as you are restricted to what the site allows you to add
-The site may be a little unattractive to view
-Lastly these site may become unfashionable and outdated, so these sites may close down and you would have no say in that
